GroundMetrics is very proud to announce that our CEO, George Eiskamp, has been selected as a finalist for the 2018 Veteran & Military Entrepreneur Awards, to be presented by the San Diego Business Journal and The Rosie Network at their 2nd Annual Conference. The 2018 Veteran and Military Conference and Awards will be held on October 30, 2018 at the Westin San Diego Gaslamp Quarter.

The awards recognize military veterans who have made a significant achievement in their careers in the past year, have a strong record of innovation and outstanding performance in their work, and are involved in the community. George represents his family’s third generation of US military service, having been honorably discharged from the Army National Guard (Infantry) in 2003.  He is also a leader in the business of tech, who’s been key in the kickstarting of several companies, including his current position as Co-Founder and CEO of GroundMetrics, Inc.

In addition to his executive achievements, George is passionate about improving the community in which he lives and he donates his time to mentoring aspiring business leaders through programs at UCSD such as The Basement incubator/accelerator, is a UC San Diego Entrepreneur-in-Residence, and has direct involvement in advising startups.  Outside of the business sphere, he volunteers with organizations such as the Veterans’ Village Stand Down, donates to multiple military charities like Disabled American Veterans, and participates in San Diego civic betterment events like beach cleanup.

The staff of GroundMetrics salutes George and all the other nominees who didn’t stop their service to their country when they left the military. Thank you all for your contributions!
